Iron is an essential mineral for human body. The body needs iron to make hemoglobin in blood which then enables the blood to transport oxygen throughout the body. Besides that, iron also aids in immunity and metabolism regulation. As iron is important in everyday body functions, small deficiency of it can have harmful effects on the body. Kellogg's Special K cereal are fortified with ten vitamins and minerals which include vitamin A, vitamin B1 (Thiamin), vitamin B2 (Riboflavin), vitamin B3 (Niacin), vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin C, vitamin E, folic acid and iron. Special K cereal contains 165 kilocalories in a 45g serving. In addition, Special K cereal provides 3.7 mg of dietary iron in one cup serving, up to 25 percent of the Nutrient Reference Value (NRV) for iron. The Nutrient Reference Value (NRV) for the general population is 14 mg/day. The Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of iron for an adult woman is 18 mg until the age of 51 and an adult man over 18 years of age should consume 8mg of iron every day.

For extra information, vitamin C will help enhance the absorption of the iron. Therefore, it is recommended to eat fortified breakfast cereal with a glass of Vitamin C-rich drink such as fruit juice. Drinking tea and coffee with iron rich meal should be avoided as the tea and coffee contains tannin which will inhibit the absorption of iron in the body.

Spray Drying~~ One of the Drying Process Method

Spray drying is one of the best drying methods to convert, in a single step, fluid materials into solid or semi-solid particles . Spray drying also becomes more and more important in industries sector such as pharmaceutical and chemical industries. Spray drying is a unit operation that creates a fine spray of liquid product in a hot air environment . Product quality can be preserved in high drying air temperature due to rapid evaporation maintains droplet temperature at low level. The initial liquid feeding can be a solution, an emulsion or a suspension . It also can be apply in heat-resistant and heat sensitive products. In addition, time required to drying of droplet in spray dryer is much shorter than other drying processes.

Spray drying involves complex interactions of process, apparatus and feed parameters which all have an influence on the final product quality .  Low water activity and light weight good quality final fruit powder can be produce in spray drying process, resulting in easier storage, resists microbial growth and transportation. The quality of spray dried fruit powder is dependent on the spray dried parameter which includes inlet temperature, air flow rate, feed flow rate, atomizer speed, types of carrier agent and their concentration. Different operating spray dried parameter used can be strongly affected characteristic of spray dried fruit powder produced such as bulk density, hygroscopicity, solubility, flowability, size of powder and glass transition temperature of powder. Spray drying is often selected as it can process material very rapidly while providing relative control of the particle size distribution.

Cempedak~~ the fruit i like the most

             Chempedak is a seasonal food native to Southeast Asia. Its looks similar like jackfruit but more smaller in size. The freshly, yellowish-orange Chempedak pulp are sweeter, stickier and have a strong odor than jack fruit. In addition, the rind of chempedak is thick but soft; it is easier to cut in length in half. Chempedak rind also has a pungent odor, is thinner than that of jackfruit and the spines are more flattened, resembling stud rather than spikes .On the other hand, it also contains lots of nutrition value. It contains Ascorbic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin B1, calcium, phosphorus, protein and bioflavonoid and is also rich in minerals like chromium, potassium, and magnesium etc. (Directorate Nutrition Department of Health, 1992)


                Chempedak is a high water activity fruit; therefore the growing of chempedak is limited in many countries to certain seasons and also easier deteriorations. In addition, native enzymes in chempedak may cause desirable and undesirable effects before, during or after processing. On the other hand, mechanical injury also possible occur which can cause by poor post harvest practices, unsuitable field or marketing containers, over-packing and careless handling. In order to meet the demand of the market throughout the year in all country and all season, the best preservation technique is drying method which by using of spray drying makes chempedak become powder form to extend the shelf life and maintain high quality of chempedak.

Today, i going to talk about anatomy, physiology and Aristotle. Anatomy is the one of my subject i wish can learn in the university but unfortunately my course didn't offer it. Physiology is the subject that very important in food science and nutrition course due to we need consider physiological condition of the patient to find a solution to help patient gaining health through nutrition treatment. 

Anatomy is the science of the structure of animal bodies, either living or dead and physiology is the science of the function, purpose,or action of living animal tissue. Both sciences usually study either humans alone or humans in relation to other animals.

Aristotle, the world's first meticulous biologist, conducted his own experiments and advocated that others likewise do so. nevertheless, in a very un-Aristotelian way, his results and those of his school were enshrined in the centuries after his death while his rigorous empirical method was mostly ignored .

The film is loosely based on Chetan Bhagat's  best selling novel "Five Point Someone". It tells a tale of three friends who stuggle to enjoy their friendship and youth while trying to ward off the burden of grueling studies in an engineering college

Farhan , Raju and Rancho are three engineering students who share a room in the residence of Imperial College of Engineering (ICE).  Rancho is a very unique students, he doesn't memorizing, and even openly against the principal "virus", questioned his method of teaching. He not only encourage Farhan and Raju to brave seek the ideal, also persuaded the second daughter of the headmaster's (Pia) leave her proud fiance . Rancho independence caused the model student "muffler" complaints, he agreed with 10 years later Rancho a bowl-off, see which way of life more success.

I really like this Indian films, among them as can see similar education system and between rich and poor strata problem. Relaxed, funny, feeling the power of positive life can be found in this movie.
